I am an extremely driven yet simple person.
Ideally, I want to find a role with a cybersecurity firm, preferably a manufacturer or service provider with a SaaS-based product. I want a flexible schedule and the autonomy to do what I need to do to achieve the success that both I and the company expect from me. I also want to be paid a decent base salary and a generous commission plan when I am 100% of the quota achievement or more.
I enjoy being an individual contributor, but I have the skills and experience to take on the challenge of a leadership role. I really want an opportunity to be a senior-level sales engineer or solutions architect for a great company with a great product, preferably in the Threat Management market, or an MSSP with a strong product/service portfolio well invested in their sales processes. I want to be able to walk into a sales meeting with a customer and not immediately be at a disadvantage because the prospective customer has never heard of the company I am with.
Once I get my feet on the ground and established, I would want to do some public speaking, maybe a keynote occasionally. Eventually, I would like to move into a strategist or evangelist role. I have experience creating and hosting podcasts and would love to do that. I like being very public-facing, or some people call it customer-facing.
Essentially, I want to do anything that puts me in the position to educate and influence the greatest number of potential customers, as that is a calling in my life.
